We are just following procedures

An anti-war whistle-blower granted asylum in the Ecuador embassy in London, and placed under seige by British police.

Law vs Justice in the 21st century.

The Israeli bombing of Iran should be starting soon, as predicted by former American army colonel, Douglas A. MacGregor, to synchronise with the American Election.  To time with the run-in and ensure backing from rival candidates hungry for pro-Israel votes (and boost donations).  But not too early as to disenchant the wider electorate as a consequence of any backlash post-thrill of the initial decisiveness and devastation heaped upon a non-compliant rag-head enemy.

The logic that Iran should not be allowed the bomb (were it to actually be developing it - cue some dodgy intelligence reports guaranteed to be true coming this way soon), maintaing Israel's monopoly in the region ignores history.  Their warmongers state a key objection is that Iran has said it wants to destroy Israel.  Throughout the 20th century the capitalist West lived with a Russian commitment to world communism but refrained from attacks to prevent it ever obtaining nuclear weapons, despite first-strike strategists (like Henry Kissinger) strenuously arguing for it.

Lesser (if you are not involved) examples of so called justice this year are John Terry being cleared of racial abuse (as he was found to have been abusive purely in a rhetorical sense, apparently, according to the top barrister in his employ) , seeing as how he couldn't deny it as lip-readers could clearly see what he had said.  A relative expressed agreement with a tweet made about one of the defence witnesses on the case, and was subsequently fined £45,000 for insulting behaviour.

There was a recent female to male transgender case where a girl cross-dressed and dated her friends, forming loving relationships.  She is now serving two and a half years.  The judge was disappointed she had not shown any emotion during the trial, as if putting on a bit of a performance would be indicative of any remorsefulness for upsetting people. Since many teen relationships involve deception, lies and yes a pushy fumble without tens of thousands of people ending up behind bars it seems a tad disproportionate to me. But she also tried to claim compensation fraudualently, so perhaps that must be it then.  And as for the ex-marine who had walked the length of the country naked but on the way back from John O'Groats got arrested and has so far served six years solitary in a Scottish prison...
